LinkedIn integration

Elixidra uses an internal LinkedIn integration to prepare and publish approved updates on its own company page. It is operated by Elixidra and is not a public account-management service. Connecting the integration requires an authorised page administrator and the permissions approved by LinkedIn.

Information used and purpose

For company-page publishing, the integration uses an administrator-authorised access token, the company page identifier, the text selected for publication, and the post identifier returned by LinkedIn. Drafts, source references, timestamps, publication status, and operational errors are recorded to manage approvals and troubleshoot publishing. This publishing workflow does not retrieve private messages, connections, follower profiles, or page analytics.

Storage and access

Access credentials and publishing records are stored in the company-controlled operating environment, separately from this public website. Access is limited to authorised operators. Credentials are used to authenticate requests to LinkedIn and are not included in public posts. Draft preparation uses a local language model; the company-page publishing workflow does not send LinkedIn access tokens or retrieved member data to a third-party AI provider.

Sharing

When an authorised operator approves publication, the selected content and company page identifier are sent to LinkedIn through its API. Published content is public on LinkedIn. Elixidra does not sell LinkedIn integration data or use it for unrelated advertising or AI model training.

Retention and deletion

Credentials are kept while needed for the authorised connection and must be removed by an operator when the integration is disconnected. Drafts and publishing records remain in local operational storage until removed by an authorised operator; there is currently no automatic deletion schedule. To request removal of integration data, contact contact@elixidra.com. We review requests and remove data that is no longer needed, subject to applicable legal obligations and LinkedIn requirements. Removing local records does not delete a post already published on LinkedIn.

Revoking access and your choices

The authorising administrator can revoke the app in LinkedIn account settings under permitted services, or ask Elixidra to disconnect it. Revocation prevents further API access with that authorisation, but does not remove existing public posts. Company page administrators can manage those posts directly on LinkedIn. Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by Elixidra in connection with the integration.

LinkedIn processes information under its own privacy policy. We will update this page if the integration's data use changes.
